In Hasbaya, southern Lebanon, life goes on beneath the constant sound of drones and the shadow of conflict. Every day, garbage trucks drive through the streets carrying waste to an overcrowded landfill, a symbol of the environmental crisis that has affected the country for years.

In this fragile context, an international cooperation project promoted by CELIM together with the Politecnico di Milano is working to establish a new waste sorting and sustainable waste management system. Through the work of engineers, local operators, and members of the Druze community, the documentary follows the slow construction of the collection center and the attempt to change everyday habits within the population.

As the conflict continues to threaten the community, small daily actions become acts of resistance and hope, showing how, even in wartime, caring for the environment can become a way to rebuild trust, community, and a sense of normality.
