The Elephant Whisperers

On Going

Their work combines emergency response with prevention and community education.

Pestiferus Lupus

In Val Strona, where pastures lie empty and mountain huts fall into ruin, an ancient ritual known as the “Exorcism of the Wolf” takes place every winter. Shepherds and villagers gather to pray, reflect, and resist, in a land where religion becomes the last defense against fear, and the boundary between man, beast, and demon grows thin.

The Petrified Archive

On Going

The film rejects the idea of “relics.” These collections are a petrified archive—living epistemologies frozen by colonial extraction. Anchored in Samba Yonga’s personal and investigative journey across museums, archives, and African territories, the film asks what happens when displaced knowledge is reactivated with its communities of origin, and how it can inform ethical leadership, climate resilience, and technological design today.

Imbaula - The Way of Charcoal

On Going

The charcoal route runs through Zambia like an invisible yet vital network. It begins in remote forests, where trees are cut and slowly transformed into charcoal and moves through villages and dirt roads on bicycles, carts, and trucks, until it reaches urban markets and household kitchens. It is an informal but essential supply chain, sustaining millions of people while filling the gap left by unreliable electricity. Along this route, economic survival, environmental destruction, and energy dependence intersect, turning charcoal into both a daily necessity and a symbol of a country burning its own future.
